The Thunder Buddies are back, in the comedy Ted 2, starring Mark Wahlberg, Seth MacFarlane, and Amanda Seyfried. Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law. Ted 2 is rated R with a running time of 115 minutes, and if this movie is like the first it is definitely not for children.

Also new in movie theaters this weekend is the family adventure Max, starring Thomas Haden Church, Josh Wiggins, and Luke Kleintank. A dog that helped US Marines in Afghanistan returns to the U.S. and is adopted by his handler's family after suffering a traumatic experience. Max is rated PG with a running time of 111 minutes.
