Cantinflas was one of the most talented and famous comedians in the 20^th century, so much so that there is now a word in the Spanish language in reference to his name and style of comedy (no I’m not going to explain it here just google it). In movie theaters this Friday there is the biographical drama Cantinflas starring Óscar Jaenada, Michael Imperioli, and Ilse Salas. The untold story of Mexico's greatest and most beloved comedy film star of all time, from his humble origins on the small stage to the bright lights of Hollywood. Cantinflas Review

The film is allright, if you have never heard of him it exposes you to his beginnings and the troubles he had to endure to get to the top, I thought it could have used more of his comedy and less of the side story about the film Around the World in 80 Days, which Cantinflas did starred in. The film felt rushed at parts and there was some editing issues, but what was spot on was the portrayal of Cantinflas by the Spanish actor Óscar Jaenada, he really did a great job capturing the mannerism and it made me believe I was actually watching Cantinflas on the screen.
