Another blast from the past in cinemas this weekend is the action comedy “CHIPS” starring Michael Peña, Dax Shepard, and Jessica McNamee. Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello (Peña) have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten up pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Ponchorello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist that may be an inside job (Warner Bros. Pictures). The inexperience rookie and the hardened pro are teamed up to solve the crime. “CHIPS” is rated R with a running time of 1 hour 41 minutes.

After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly. Jurassic World is the continuation of the Jurassic Park franchise, with hopes of future films to come, the movie is rated PG-13 with a running time of 124 minutes.
