The live action family adventure drama The Jungle Book premieres this Friday, starring Neel Sethi, and featuring the voices Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, and Scarlett Johansson. The man-cub Mowgli flees the jungle after a threat from the tiger Shere Khan. Guided by Bagheera the panther and the bear Baloo, Mowgli embarks on a journey of self-discovery, though he also meets creatures who don't have his best interests at heart. The Jungle Book is rated PG with a running time of 1 hour 45 minutes.

Time for another cut in the comedy Barbershop: The Next Cut starring Ice Cube, Regina Hall, and Anthony Anderson. It's been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin's Barbershop. Calvin and his longtime crew are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and our crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighborhood.
